In the city of Nazareth

Angel Gabriel came to Mary

Blessed are you among women on earth

For you shall have a baby,

Child of the Holy Ghost

Mary said

“Be it unto me according to your word”

In the city of Bethlehem

Was baby Jesus born

Wrapped up in a manger

On that glorious night

They saw a brightly shining star

And wonders in the sky

Joy to the world

The Prince of peace is born

Shepherds in the valley

Watching flocks by night

Suddenly, the glory shone around

“Fear not”, said the angel

Glad tidings I bring

Peace on earth and goodwill to all men

They came to worship Him

Casting crowns bringing diverse gifts

“We’ve come to bow and worship

The newborn King”
